ezTaxReturn

Used this software for 2025 federal and state returns. Was notified by email that the primary social security number from a prior year ezTaxReturn user account was used on a different user account this year.

The email did not give any further information other than if I was aware of this to disregard the message. Neither return was submitted by them. I filed using a different IRS partner with no issues.

I requested a refund from ezTaxReturn and they have refused. I reported this to the BBB, and they continue to deny a refund.

I cannot get printed copies of either my federal or Missouri state returns via my cellphone. I need to know my exact userid and password to sign on but do not have the exact ID. One ID is 1 character longer than the other one. I saw a refund on federal when I thought I submitted but cannot even sign on now!

Please help me to know

1. My exact login user-defined

2. My password

3. What address I should log into my computer!

Schedule 8995 was filed with my 2025 tax return today. This schedule does not apply to my tax return; I do not know why it was included with the return.

I completed the 1099-R section and was doing SSA-1099 when I received a 403 Forbidden alert and was locked out of the system. My name is Deborah Gordon, the last 4 digits of SS are 9934 and my phone number is 970-402-****.

I've utilized EZ since 2019. Then, out of the blue (with no change to our circumstances), after entering everything, I received a message that basically said: 'Some returns are so complicated, they take a trained eye to review them and should not be done online. Therefore, this is not an EZ return, and this site's software is not equipped to handle this return.' (Wording is slightly paraphrased, but expresses the gist.)

I will never use this tax service again - I filed my federal and state taxes yesterday. I keep getting contradictory emails that there was a problem with my federal return and to refile.

So I refile and I get another email telling me that everything was OK and that it was filed. Then I get an email telling me it wasn't filed.

They advertise that their filing service is FREE. Not so.

Only your State Returns are free.

There is ZERO customer service. No one ever returns your calls.

Avoid this company!

I filed a state return. I've sent three inquiries.

It's been three weeks. No one has reached out. The return keeps getting rejected. I don't know why it's not going through.
